A fragmented cast, copper-alloy, double-looped buckle of post-medieval date (c. AD 1500-1700). The buckle has trapezoidal loops and consists of a narrowed pin bar with a copper-alloy pin still attached. The outer face is undecorated with knops at the corners and small lobes at the ends of the pin bar. The reverse is flat and undecorated. An oval single loop iron buckle, probably dating from the medieval period (c. 13th-15th century AD).  It has an oval frame with slightly narrowed bar. The pin remains in place with the loop wrapped around the bar. While corroded, this buckle has no apparent decoration. The buckle has a rough, orange/brown surface.  Measurements: 42 mm in length, 29 mm in width and the pin is 34 mm in length. The weight is 14.00 g. Decoration on these types of buckles are minimal as they were used widely on horse equipment.
