A broken and incomplete, silvered copper-alloy contemporary copy of a shilling of William III (AD 1694-1702) dating to c. 1695-1701. Third bust. Mint of London.  Measurements: Diameter 25 mm, Weight 3.02 g This coin was either plated or surface enriched. As well as being visible on both surfaces, some corroded copper is visible in the break. Around a quarter to a third of the original coin has been lost due to the break.
