A damaged and incomplete post-medieval base silver groat probably of Henry VIII (AD 1509-1547), probably Third coinage, probably Bust 3, ?no initial mark, minted at York, c. AD 1544-1547, probably North 1848. This coin has been bent and cracked resulting in circumferential losses equating to the outer circle over almost half of the coin.
