Simple boat-shaped cosmetic mortar with a hollow body- section. The retaining loop which would have been situated at one of the end points of the artefact which is missing, as is the globular knop type terminal that would have been at the opposite end. It is quite extensively corroded but still in fair condition.

French Jetton, obverse shows three fleur de lis within a shield. The reverse depicts a cross of three strands fleuronee enclosed by a circle, in each quarter there is a five point star.The outer flan is partially decayed.

Papal bulla of Innocent III (pope 1198-1216). One side depicting images of St Peter and St Paul, the opposite side inscribed with INNO CENTIVS P.P.III. the Bulla is made of lead, and the rim is slightly dented.

Made of cast copper alloy, hexagonal cross section handle with integrated suspension loop. The recessed design of the seal is a small rampant animal,likely to be a stylised rampant lion, but appears to be more monkey like and is right facing once impressed.A recessed lombardic inscription features around the outside of the seal face. (This was originally read as SV II LCOFORTIS but was clearly intended as SVM LEO FORTIS or a variant thereof).
At the end of the lombardic inscription there is a small downward pointing arrow, and next to it a small six pointed star.

Flanged bronze palstave,flared flange area. The casting lines are still very prominent, and condition can be described as excellent. The axe has a degree of patination,and a small amount of blistering. The blade edge has not suffered and appears to be intact. No wear can be noted from the flange area and the artefact is completely intact.
