A pewter spoon in two pieces, the bowl and stem. It has a bowl rounded at the end and where it meets the stem, where it widens slightly. The stem is hexagonal in section, although the upper and lower faces are flat and the hexagon is formed by bevelling on the two narrow sides. The stem flattens and wides towards the end, which is a very faint heart shape. On the face at the top are the remains of a moulded in pattern, which is indistinguishable. It is probably of the eighteenth century.

Part of a lead alloy spindle whorl with an unusual design. It is a shallow biconical whorl, with a moulded border around the circumference and inner diameter. On one side is a knot design formed of intertwined lines. On the other side is a design made up of various symbols, including groups of three dots, radiating lines and what may be two intertwined letter F's, and, unusually, a heart motif. The image on the right hand side gives a better view of these symbols. Approximately 60% of the whorl survives. The diameter of the central hole is 10mm which would sugge…

A lead alloy strainer in three pieces, hand made and dated to the medieval or post medieval date (c.AD 1400-1550).
The object is broken into three pieces but it is clear that they all fit together. They are though bent out of shape and crushed. The holes are now inconsistent in size and shape although this may not have been the case when made, they measure approximately 4mm diameter where not distorted. LVPL-C59742 records a similar piece and it is noted that Egan (2005: 98) illustrates a fragment of a similar curved strainer with fig.84, n…
