Fragment of a probable copper alloy Roman plate brooch, inlaid with enamel, dating to the 2nd century AD (100-200AD).
The object is oval in plan and slightly convex on the outer face. There is a break at the top and bottom of the object. This suggests that the object could be a large roundel from the centre of a brooch bow. It is decorated on the outer face with a series of concentric circular cells, the largest of which contains blue enamel or glass. The inner circles appear to contain degraded enamel or glass, which is a rusty brown colour. The reverse is plain.

A complete copper alloy mount dating to the post medieval period (c.AD 1700-1800).
The mount is sub-triangular in shape with a broad, curved edge base and a sub-rectangular top. The fcae is undecorated. To the reverse are two incomplete studs for attachment, one positioned at each opposing end. The object as a light green patina.

A complete lead / lead alloy spindle whorl probably dating to the medieval period (c.AD 1200-1500).
The object has a shallow biconical shape with a large central perforation measuring 10.3mm in diameter. Both faces are worn and corroded which has obscurred nearly all of the decorative details; one face appears to present raised pellets. The surface is corroded and the edges are incomplete, the object has a dark grey patina.

An incomplete copper alloy scabbard chape dating to the medieval to post medieval period (1450-1600).
The object consists of the from plate only, the back plate is missing. It is formed of a round bellied bottom with a knop protruding from the base. It is decorated with incised lines to create a scallop shell effect. The top of the object narrows to form a sub-rectangular neck and top. Below the top is an openwork love heart, below which is a openwork trefoil. The object has incomplete edges and has a light green / brown patina.

An incomplete copper alloy terret harness fitting of late Iron Age to Roman date (c.50 BC - AD 100).
The terret survives only as a fragment and presents a curved D-shape bar with a raised moulding that terminates in a won break. The beginnings of a horizontal strap bar extends from the bar and also terminates in a worn break. The surface is undecorated and has a slightly pitted surface and a smooth dark green patina.

An almost complete copper alloy Roman brooch of the Wirral type dating to c.AD 100-200.
The brooch is almost complete, missing just the hinge mechanism and pin. It presents a stepped head the top of which connects to the headloop. On the reverse of the head is the remains of the hinge mechanism which has a small section of the pin remaining emerging from each side out of two rivet holes. A complete but disfigured copper-alloy hooked strap fitting dating to the medieval to post medieval period (c.AD 1300-1600).
The object consists of a metal bar that is roughly U-shape in plan and a variable cross-section. The shorter end creates a rectangular loop, which would have been set parallel to the side plan of the object however this has since been distorted. The longer end has an L shape, the central part of the object is curved. The object has a dark green patina.
