A complete lead alloy, two-disc, cloth seal probably dating from the late 18th to 19th century (c1750-1850AD). Stamped on one side with what is probably the City Arms of Leeds, being a shield with a biconcave top, with three stars at the top, and probably a fleece below. The reverse is blank.
The seal is formed of two circular discs – one with a hole and one with a rivet – joined by a connecting strip. The strip is folded so the rivet passes through the hole and then stamped. In this case, with what appears to be the City Arms of Leeds. For a similar exam…

An incomplete lead alloy ampulla of the Medieval period dating from c1200-1400AD.
The lead flask is rounded with a tall sub-rectangular flaring neck and retains the stubs of an attachment loop on both sides. The faces of the object would have been flat or slightly convex, but have been pressed in, or flattened. There are traces of moulded decoration on the base of the object on one side only, which may be the remains of a grooves to mimic a scallop shell. The mouth of the ampulla is damaged and has been flattened.
The object is a mid grey in colour with an even surface patina.

A fragment of a copper alloy medieval to post medieval cast cooking vessel dating c.AD 1200-1700.
The fragment comes from the rim of the vessel, which is sub-triangular in cross-section and curved. The rim thickness measures 5.7mm at the outer edge. The breaks are worn and irregular. The external surface has a raised rib towards the top of the rim, and the fragment has a smooth light green patina.

An incomplete copper alloy stud likely dating to the Roman period (c.AD 43-410).
The object has a circular, domed head, similar to a mushroom cap. Integral to the underside of the head is a pointed stud with a blunt end. The stud has a light green patina with patches of smooth and rough surfaces.

A copper alloy pot leg fragment from a cooking vessel or cauldron dating to the medieval to post medieval period (c.AD 1350-1750).
The object is sub-rectangular in shape and slightly concave. The upper face presents three longitudinal moulded lines whilst the reverse is smooth and curved. At the top, the leg is recessed and curved to enable attachment to the wider vessel. The leg has a smooth dark green patina.

An incomplete copper alloy Roman trumpet brooch dating to c.AD 75-175. See Mackreth (2011) TR 1.b Plate 79 no.5123.
The brooch is comprised of the head and most of the bow; the foot, catchplate and pin are missing. The head is sub-triangular and splays towards the top. The reverse of the head projects an incomplete integral lug through which is iron corrosion, likely from the missing pin.
