A cast lead mount in the form of a stylised dolphin, or possibly a fish. The dolphin has an arched back and a tail which loops back on itself to meet with the arched back. The object has a flat base with slight traces of solder, and this may have been a handle for some sort of vessel. Slight traces of black remain over parts of the mount. It measures 52.24 mm long, 14.12 thick and 27.3 mm high. It weighs 88.2 grams. Two similar examples are recorded on the PAS database.
