An incomplete, copper alloy strap fitting of Post Medieval date (c. AD 1550-1800). The object is a bar mount with terminal sub-oval lobes at either end. The object is plano-convex, with a domed front and a largely flat reverse, except for the stubs of integral attachment spikes at both the top and bottom of the object. The object is extremely worn, and so whilst it may appear that there are no obvious remnants of what were raised ribs on the central segment of the object, akin to those found on HAMP-5F6AA8, this does not preclude the object from having had them at some point…

The bar has a sub-rectangular cross section (3.79mm long, 3.09mm wide at the junction with the terminal), and curves slightly to the left near the bottom. Coin is bent at 10 o'clock and the edge broken or removed at 2 o'clock on the obverse. There is also a crack or cut in the centre of the bust.  Coin measures 18mm in dimaeter and weighs 0.91g.

The token is roughly circular and is uniface, with a four petalled flower on the obverse and thus conforms to Powell Type 1. The reverse is quite heavily damaged, with large numbers of missing chips and potential evidence of corrosion. The object has a largely light grey patina with some cream coloured sections. The obverse is decorated with four concentric circles, including the raised outside edge, and thus falls under Powell Type 31. The seal is roughly oval, though it is now distorted and the suspension loop that would hav ebeen at the apex is now missing. The obverse of the seal has the interwoven letters "AH/ME/W" over three lines, though part of the "W" is now missing. A complete finger ring dating to the Modern peirod (c. AD 1878-1900). The hoop is D-shaped in corss-section with a plain outer band and ITALIA UMBERTO I in raised lettering on the inner band with a border above consising of short vertical lines repeating. The object has a mid-green patina and the edges are slightly chipped. The finger ring appears to be dedicated to Umberto I, King of Italy from AD 1878 until his assassination in July 1900.  Overall dimensions: 22.30mm in diameter, 1.74mm in thickness and 3.17g in weight.

A Post Medieval silver sixpence of William III (AD 1694-1702). York mint dating to AD 1696 (Spink 3526). Spink (2000: 328). Coin is extremely worn and appears to have been bent into and S-shape. Coins with such a double bend are not uncommon finds but their significance is not fully understood. According to Dr Kevin Leahy such 'Love tokens' were made using coins dating from the time of Elizabeth I (1558-1603) to the reign of Ann (1702-1714) with some Georgian examples. An incomplete cast copper alloy and iron knife, the handle of which depicts an erotic scene, dating to the Roman period (c. AD43-410). The knife is missing all of the blade with the exception of the tang and the surviving handle has suffered significant corrosion and wear.
