A near complete flint blade of probable later Mesolithic date (6500BC - 4500BC). The flint tool is broadly sub-rectangular in plan and D shaped in cross section; it has been abraded in the ploughsoil. It is formed on a tertiary flake and there is no cortex present. The bulb of percussion is lost due to a break across the lower half of the blade that has removed the bulb and the striking platform. A possible Levalloisian core flake / blade of most probable Neolithic date. The blade is rectangular in plan with a lenticular cross-section. The lower edge is broken - most probably in antiquity as the whole flint has the same mid-grey coloured milky surface patina. Two abraded tertiary debitage waste flakes struck from a core during the later Mesolithic period (6500-3500 BC). The two blades are broadly a rectangular shape in plan and both have distinctive dorsal crests. In both cases the retouch has been applied to the one surviving original long edge on the dorsal face only; here it creates a crescent shaped removal which is reworked with retouch that is best described as short, sub-parallel and semi-abrupt. Five (5) snapped blade / bladelets of probable Mesolithic date (6500-3500 BC). All have been struck from larger prepared cores but their long edges have not been reworked. All have been burnt in a fire - possibly suggesting this waste has been utilised as pot boilers. All have a white coloured patina which is crazed through heat cracking. The largest blade measures: 19.5mm length, 16.5mm width, is 5.5mm thick and weighs 2.5 grams. The smallest blade measures: 11.0mm length, 13.3mm width, is 2.8mm thick and weighs 0.7 grams. The five microliths have a bulk weight of 6.8 grams

The dorsal surface has two vertical scars and the ventral surface has traces of conchoidal ripples and a small bulb of percussion. The surface has a white patina which has a dark grey flint. It measures 25.74mm long, 9.83mm wide, 3.79mm thick and weighing 0.95g. The blade probably dates to the Mesolithic to Neolithic periods, c. 7000 to 2350BC.

The dorsal surface has three vertical scars and the ventral surface has traces of conchoidal ripples. The proximal end is missing, but the patina which covers the surface also covers the break. One on lateral edge there is a small portion of damage rather than re-touch revealing a dark grey flint. It measures 31.88mm long, 14.11mm wide, 3.39mm thick and weighing 2.17g. The blade probably dates to the Mesolithic to Neolithic periods, c. 7000 to 2350BC.

The proximal end has the remains of a prepared knapping platform. The flint is very coarse being a light brown grey colour with slightly crystalline (cherty) structure. The bladelet measures 20.0mm length, 23.4mm width, is 8.8mm thick and weighs 4.3 grams.
