The object is an incomplete Trumpet brooch which dates to the Roman period or 1st to 2nd century AD. It is made of cast copper alloy and is incomplete.
The head of the brooch is sub-oval in shape while the reverse is recessed. Surrounding the head is an angled border which flares outwards, and is decorated by a single incised line running around its perimeter. One side of the border is slightly damaged, where it has been crushed inwards. At the very top of the brooch is a single projection. According to Hattatt (Hattatt, R. 1987. Brooches of Antiquity. The object is a Roman Colchester Two-Piece brooch of the T-shaped type. T-shape brooches date to the late first to mid second century AD (75 – 150 AD). The brooch is made of cast copper alloy and is in complete.
In plan the brooch has short, narrow and tubular wings, which are decorated by a single longitudinal groove at each end. In profile the wings are sub-circular. The ends of a cast copper alloy axis bar can be seen protruding from the wing ends. The axis bar supports a cast copper alloy hinged pin which sits in a sub-rectangular recess on the reverse of the bow head. …

The object is a probable derivative of a Colchester Two-Piece brooch, of the Trumpet type. The brooch dates to the Roman period or first to second century AD (75 AD -175 AD). The brooch is made of cast copper alloy and is incomplete.
In plan the brooch head is sub-rectangular while the reverse of the head is recessed. At either side of the head, are the remains of two incomplete reward facing lugs. A complete cast lead token dating to the Post-Medieval period or 17th to 19th centuries AD. The token is 31.8mm in diameter, 3.1mm thick and weighs 26.51g.
The token is decorated on one side by a six-foil star/petal design inside a circular border, the border being 3 - 4mm wide. In between each pointed oval (petal) is a single circular pellet. The pellets are approximately 2.6mm in diameter. The reverse of the object is undecorated.

The object is an incomplete cast lead token which probably dates to the Post-Medieval period, or 17th to 19th centuries AD. The token is 29.3mm in diameter, 3.1mm thick and weighs 17.57g. The object is mid-brown in colour and is slightly damaged around the edge, where some parts are now missing.

All that remains of the spoon is the bowl and the base of the handle. In plan the bowl is circular and concave. The bowl is 21.9mm in diameter and 4.7mm deep. An incomplete Roman copper-alloy knife handle of the ‘hare and hound’ type. The hound is well defined with long front legs, a long and narrow face which is triangular. The ears consist of slightly enlarged, elongated ovals, with raised borders and look slightly too large for the hound’s head. The body is well defined and of slender build (possibly a grey hound). The object is a probable cast lead alloy spindle whorl. The dating of lead spindle whorls is difficult due to the long period of time over which they were used. According to Geake (Geake, H. 2001 Finds Recording Guide, Version 1.1; August 2001) lead spindle whorls have been found in both Roman and Medieval contexts (Geake 2001, 66).
