Contemporary copy of a copper alloy (or bronze) nummus of Magnentius, 350- 353 AD. The obverse depicts a crude likeness of Magnentius showing a draped bust facing right. The head is very large and crude with a large (out of scale) ear and eye, protruding chin and pointed stub nose. The obverse inscription is worn and illegible. The reverse depicts two victories holding a wreath The inscription reads: VICT[ORIAE D]D NN A[VG CAE] / VOT / XX

It is likely that the inscription, which is now illegible reads: [BEATA TRANQUILLITAS / VO / TIS / XX].
