An irregular fragment of tertiary debitage - most probably the remains of a Mesolithic core of irregular shape that has been rolled in the ploughsoil. From the images provided it is possible to see the removal of narrow blades in two opposing directions. These platforms are at opposite ends of the debitage. The flint is a dark grey black colour. The flint has been heavily rolled in the ploughsoil; this has resulted in direct damage and irregular removals as well as a general surface abrasion. The core measures 38mm in length, 35mm width, and is 15mm thick.

Originally it was rectangular in form with a distinctive bulbar scar on the ventral face and prepared platform on the distal end. The dorsal face has a central crested ridge. All other removals are modern and the blade has been rolled in the topsoil. The flint is a coarse grained mid- grey black colour consistent with locally utilised chert. A pyramidal (cone shaped) core dating to the later Mesolithic period (6500 - 3500 BC). The core is triangular in profile and irregular in plan. A single distinct dressed knapping platform is present and there are several areas of multiple blade removals in a single direction .The flint is a dark black colour with an area of milky white cortex on one edge. The flint has been heavily rolled in the ploughsoil and all surfaces are abraded. The core measures 19.7mm in length, 26.9mm width, is 18.1mm thick and weighs 12.3 grams.

A small sub-rectangular bladelet of later mesolithic date (4500 - 3500 BC). The bladelet has vertical removals on the dorsal face and chonchoidal ripples on the ventral. The long edges have not been retouched. The flint is very coarse being a mid brown grey colour with slightly crystalline (cherty) structure. It measures 16.6mm length, 13.3mm width, is 3.0mm thick and weighs 0.82 grams.

PAS-RC07 Grid A2 A small snapped blade of later Mesolithic date (5500 - 3500 BC). The blade is broadly rectangular in plan and rhomboid in section. The upper dorsal face has a series of linear flake scars present created by the removal of other blades from the core. The reverse (ventral) shows conchoidal fractures, bulb of percussion and striking platform. The striking platform and bulb of percussion are both present. The external edges have been retouched and an irregular removal is present on one edge- the area around this is retouched possibly suggesting the removal shape had a specific use. The blade is a mid brown grey colour. It measures: 19.4mm in length, 14.4mm width, is 3.9mm thick and weighs 0.72 grams.

The flint is relatively coarse and a mid grey colour with small areas of translucent milky grey white coloured patina.
