Rim sherd of a relatively thin walled coarseware pottery vessel. The sherd dates to the Roman period (50 - 410) and conforms mostly to the local 'Severn Valley' like wares. The fabric is relatively soft with a number of angular and sub-angular quartz, grit and ironstone inclusions. The fabric also contains considerable inclusions of mica / sand. The fabric colour is a uniform mid orange colour. A suggested diameter of the rim is 16cm, and the sherd represents 6% of the rim. The height or capacity of the vessel cannot be estimated. A Roman body sherd from a wheel thrown ceramic vessel. The sherd is of a fabric similar to, or what is known as Severn Valley ware. This type of pottery was produced throughout the Roman Period, in the Severn Valley area, and typically consisted of jars, jugs, flagons, bowls and tankards. The sherds are abraded and worn so there are no visible diagnostic features to precisely date the object. The sherd has a length of 28.65mm, a width of 27.15mm and a thickness of 7.44mm; it weighs 6.9 grams.

A cast copper-alloy fragment from a cooking vessel of post-medieval date. The artefact consists of the foot and a short section of leg above. Immediately above the foot is a ribbed collar. The foot is decorated on the front with three vertical ribs, the central rib being wider than the two flanking ribs to the side. The leg has a flat reverse and broadens to the sides and front below the collar, giving it a sub-triangular cross-section. The leg is green with flecks of black soot. The fragment is sub-rectangular; the front is wider than the reverse, with angled sides creasting a broad wedge shaped, or trapezoidal, cross-section. A copper alloy vessel mount in the form of a helmeted figure of the goddess Minerva dating to the Roman period (100-400 AD). The figure is heavily worn and corroded and much of the detail is lost. The lower part of the handle is also lost, hence there is some debate as to whether this is a knife handle or spatula. The break is heavily worn and in the same condition as the rest of the mount- this would suggest that the break is old. The terminal is irregular in both shape and also section. Cast copper-alloy zoomorphic spout from a 15th-century pedestal-base ewer. The spout is in the shape of a dog's head, and is sub-rectangular in both plan and profile, with a sub-triangular cross section. It measures 78.2mm in length, 48.5mm in width, and is 17.6mm thick.
