A complete, cast lead spindle whorl of probable Medieval date. It is biconical in shape, with a circular perforation in the centre. The whorl has been miscast, with a leak in the mould resulting in the lead from one side forming as blobs on the other. One of these blobs detached from the whorl as the artefact was being recovered and this blob has been weighed with the rest of the artefact. A complete lead cast token of probable post-medieval date. The crude uniface token has a simple cast pattern of a cross (Powell Type 14). The token is sub oval in shape and grey in colour. The token weighs 9.23g. The thickness varies from 2.6mm to 2.8mm. The token is 22.8mm long by 20.0mm wide.

A complete cast lead medieval spindle whorl. It is biconical in shape, with a circular perforation in the centre. Both halves are decorated all the way round with straight vertical grooves that are closely spaced. The spindle whorl has an off-white patina. It is 22.5mm in diameter, and 16.1mm tall. The perforation is 9.6mm in diameter. It weighs 21.0g.

Lead spindle-whorl of Medieval date. Bi-conical, decorated with a maximum diameter of 25.9mm and a height of 16.4mm. Broad and rounded central waist with a depth of up to 8mm. One face is decorated with chevrons and the other with radiating lines. The perforation has an internal diameter of 9.5mm and the whorl weighs 39.4g.

Cast lead or lead alloy Papal Bulla of Pope Paschal I of early medieval date (817 - 824). The bulla is sub-rectangular (rectangular with rounded corners) in plan and rectangular in cross section. It measures 32.5mm in length, 22.9mm width, and is 5.6mm thick. It weighs 28.912g (1.0198oz or 446.17 grains). Both the left and right edges of the bulla have been clipped or trimmed, however, this clipping respects the central inscriptions on both faces.
