An incomplete lead cloth alnage seal of Post Medieval date (Likely 16th or 17th century). One side bears a central design of crown over chained portcullis as is standard with alnage seals. An inscription in Lombardic capitals runs clockwise around edge from a fleur-de-lys initial mark, but only the final five characters are visible, giving the possible inscription: …RERGR. The reverse of the seal bears an integral rivet. Alnage seals typically had two discs and were used to seal cloth as proof of tax paid.

Medieval (late 12th to 15th centuries) ampulla: Only the lower half of the lead ampulla remains. In plan the lower portion of the ampulla is a sub-oval with the upper edge being broken. The ampulla is slightly bulbous on the lower edge, and the upper edge is pressed together. Both faces of the ampulla are decorated. One face has a scallop motif covering it, the other face has a possible crown motif. The surface of the ampulla has developed a light cream coloured patina which is incomplete. A complete cast lead Medieval spindle whorl. It is biconical in shape, with a broadly circular perforation in the centre. There is similar decoration both faces, consisting of radial lines creating 11 broadly equal wedges, each with a domed pellet within. The whorl has a cream patina. It is 32mm in diameter, and 10mm thick. The perforation is 9-10mm in diameter. It weighs 41g.
