Obverse description; crowned head facing forward. The crown consists of a horizontal band with six small pellets (two above and four below) and three large pellets (above the horizontal band)that are incorporated into the circle of pellets that contains the crowned head. The coin is a class 3b, and the reverse reads ROG/ERO/NhE/REF - with ER, Nh and EF ligated - in the Brussels Hoard there were 33 examples of Hereford Class 3b of Roger according to Churchill and Thomas (2012 book on the Brussels Hoard).

A complete cut quarter penny / farthing of Henry III (1216-1272). This is an Irish coin from Dublin mint dating 1251 - 1254. We have the obverse from about 8 O'Clock to 11 O'Clock, with the bottom left corner of the Irish single bordered triangle, with the kings hand in the corner holding the sceptre and the letters EX in the legend, and two ringlets of the kings hair with pellets inside. We have the third quarter of the reverse with the first three letters DEV of the Dublin mint, and three pellets between the cross arms.
