A probable cast copper alloy cooking vessel foot. In plan it is a sub-rectangle with an asymmetrical rounded foot. In profile the reverse of the leg is straight whereas the front face is slightly domed and undulating. In section the leg is an elongated semi-circle. The upper edge of the leg is broken, this may not be a recent break. The surface has traces of a heavy grey/green patina, but the surface has possibly been over cleaned. The leg measures 28.89mm tall, 19.98mm wide across the foot and 8.08mm thick. It weighs 15.2g.

A cast copper alloy leg or foot from a copper alloy vessel probably a cauldron or skillet of later medieval date (1300 - 1500). The leg is sub-rectangular in plan and cross section. It tapers slightly from the top to the base. The top of the foot is uneven and would have been soldered to the body of the vessel. The foot expands at the very base; this forms a wide foot which would improve the stability of the vessel. The angle of the leg, when the foot is placed on a horizontal surface, is approximately 80°. The leg measures 29.9mm in length, has a maximum width of 17.2mm, a maximum th…

Copper alloy token - possibly dating to the post medieval period (probably 1600-1700). The token is extremely worn and the majority of the design and inscription has been lost. A positive identification has not been possible because of this. It is most likely to fit into the tradition of token coinage dating to the restoration in the Monarch 1660-1680.

Cast copper alloy finger ring of probable later Medieval or post medieval date (1350-1600 AD). The hoop of the finger ring is irregular and slightly distorted in plan. The hoop of the finger ring flares (at the shoulders of the ring) and forms a sub-rectangular bezel. The hoop measures 20.9mm x 21.2mm, it is 5.1mm wide (at the bezel) and 2.1mm wide (on the hoop), 2.2mm thick, and weighs 1.89 grams. The internal diameter of the ring is 18.3mm x 17.9mm.

A complete heraldic mount provisionally dated to the early modern period 1650-1850. The mount is formed in two parts: the back plate is a very poor cast copper alloy amalgam which contains a considerable amount of lead alloy (evident in the grey corrosion product and typified by flakey laminated corrosion). The front plate is formed from a heavily incised and relatively thick silver sheet. The sheet has been fixed to the back plate by a combination of crimping and probably solder. The overall design on the front face is that of a gated tower or turret, the base of which sits on a twist…

It is likely that the pointed end (now broken) would have terminated in a hook which would have fastened to the spur.
