Relatively large flint scraper (side and end) of probable later Neolithic date (2900 - 2100 BC). The scraper is formed from a large chunky flint secondary waste flake, which was probably a bi-product of other tool production. It is broadly oval in plan and cross section. A complete Late Neolithic waste flake (tertiary debitage). The flake is sub-triangular in shape and has a twisted, flat cross-section. There is no retouch. The ventral face has a percussion scar and a large striking platform. It is wideset at the stiking platform and tapers quickly to a thin body. The flint is a translucent off white, with an internal light grey patch, indicating this is a river flint. It is 27mm long, 18mm wide and 5mm thick at platform. It weighs 1.4g.

A complete Late Neolithic waste flake (tertiary debitage). The flake is sub-oval in shape and has a flat cross-section. One end is more pointed and the flake is thickest near this end. There is no retouch. The ventral face has a percussive ripples from a strike at the pointed end. The dorsal face has many ridges and percussive ripples in opposing directions. The flint is an almost opaque light grey, indicating this is a river flint. It is 37mm long, 24mm wide and 6mm thick. It weighs 4.3g.

A piece of flint waste (debitage), probably Mesolithic, and possibly a worked out core. There are several areas where flakes have been removed from the piece, but they do not appear to have been removed in a very regular fashion. This piece may be the very last attempt at extracting usable flint flakes from the core, perhaps explaining the unusual angles from which flakes have been struck. An irregular piece of tertiary debitage probably dating from the Neolithic period c. 3500-2100 BC. The waste flake has struck during the knapping of a larger flint artefact, most likely to remove an irregular inclusion. The flake shows flaking in several different directions and a clear striking platform on the upper edge and bulb of percussion can be seen on the lower (ventral) face. A snapped flint piece of tertiary debitage blade of later Mesolithic date (4000 -3000BC). The blade is rectangular in plan and has a crested cross section. The striking platform and bulb of percussion are present on the ventral face and the blade has been snapped near the mid-point; the break is old and patinated. The two long edges show some evidence of reworking - although this mostly seems to be unorganised direct retouch - there is also some possibility that this retouch could be caused by movement in the soil. PAS-RC07 Grid D19 An irregular chunk or chip of tertiary debitage / waste flake of probable Neolithic date ( 4000 - 2500BC). In plan and profile the flake is irregular. There is no evidence of any reworking . The dorsal face has several flake removal scars in multiple directions.The flint is a mid white colour and the flake has been burnt in a fire. It has a crazed surface through heat damage; this form of burnt flint is often called a 'pot-boiler'. The debitage measures 36.47mm in length, 38.88mm width, is 12.04mm thick and weighs 21.28 grams.
