A fragment of cast copper alloy spearhead dating from the Middle to Late Bronze Age (c. 1500BC-800BC). The fragment represents only the very tip of the spearhead and is heavily corroded. Bronze Age copper alloy spearhead fragment of side-looped type, dating to the Taunton-Penard metalworking phases (c.1400-1100 BC) of the Middle Bronze Age. The spearhead is broken at both ends and would have been short with a flame- or leaf-shaped blade. The circular socket becomes lozenge-shaped as it defines the central rib of the blade. The remnants of both loops are present at the base of the fragment and appear slight with a circular section.

Medieval copper alloy mount The cast mount is incomplete and distorted (with a length of 76.6mm, a straightened length of 78.4mm and a weight of 16.1g). The terminals have projecting knops of D-shaped section before the attachment perforations (of 3.5mm and 4.1mm diameter) and are marked by edge faceting to define the terminals. A near-complete cast tin alloy bead of unknown date. The bead is roughly circular in plan and sub-oval in section with external diameter of 13.6 and 8.5mm thick. The central perforation is warped but the side with less warpage has an internal diameter of 5.8mm x 3.9mm. The bead lacks diagnostic characteristics so a definite date cannot be obtained, however two tin beads are recorded from Medieval (15th century) contexts and examples are described by Egan and Pritchard (2002: 315-316 no. 1584, 1585). A near-complete copper alloy Medieval buckle (c. AD 1400-1500). The buckle consists of the frame and the end of the pin, the rest of the pin lost to old damage. The frame is roughly circular in plan and plano-convex in section (c.46.8mm diameter, 4.1mm thick). The frame is divided by a central bar that is sub-triangular in section and flush with the frame.
