A copper alloy bridle bit, possibly dating to the late Iron Age to the Roman period (circa 100BC to 200AD). The object consists of two bars placed parallel with a central moulded collar which has been worn and thus less prominent. A medieval silver annular brooch. The frame is formed from silver wire, half of which is round in section, while the other half has been formed into square wire, twisted to give the appearance of cabling, with punched decoration running along the twists. There is a constriction for the pin (now missing), at which point the brooch is broken, probably at the point of the original soldering. The brooch is otherwise in good condition. A medieval gold finger-ring dating to the period c.AD 1200-1500. The bezel of the ring is rectangular in plan, and in cross-section it widens where it meets the band before narrowing to its flat base. It is hollow, and its upper surface forms a border around a polished rectangular blue gemstone or glass setting within it. The stone exhibits post-depositional damage, comprising a chip to one corner and a diagonal gouge situated slightly off-centre. A  cast lead alloy shot/ball of medieval date, probably for use in a hand cannon or mounted gun from the 15th century (possibly linked the war of the roses,and the battle of Mortimers Cross some 2.5 miles away). The surface is abraded, probably from movement in the soil by farm machinery and as such it is unknown as to whether it has been fired or not. A near complete copper alloy Roman Trumpet brooch dating from AD 100-200. The bow of the brooch has an angular profile and an angular D shaped cross section. The bow tapers from a flared head to an abraded point, the foot knop is lost. The head of the brooch is complete, oval in plan, and tapers into the bow. The reverse of the head is concave and has a cast projecting bar which divides the head into two parts. The bar is broken and abraded and the spring and pin are lost. A fragment from the lower bow and foot of a cast copper alloy brooch most probably of Roman date (AD50-350). The alloy of the metal is relatively unusual seeming to be heavily leaded creating a very grey coloured alloy. The form of the brooch comprises an angular bow which has transverse ribs terminating in a large moulded D shaped bead from which an oval shaped foot descends.
