An incomplete and eroded cast copper alloy early Roman brooch most probably a Colchester derivative Polden Hill type (AD 80-120) . The wings are complete being semi-cylindrical in plan; the flat and pierced end caps are partially eroded. The axis bar, spring and pin are lost. The spring would have been held in place by an external cord which is fixed to a now much abraded rearward facing hook positioned at the midpoint on the upper edge of the reverse. A complete, cast, copper-alloy buckle frame of Medieval to post Medieval date (c1200-c1600). The buckle is a single loop and D shaped, with the rear bar slightly reduced in length. The frame is a narrow oval in cross section, deeper than it is wide. The sides of the bar taper in depth from front to rear, with the rear bar being 3.7mm thick and the outer edge 4.5mm thick. The frame is 19mm long by 31mm wide. Weight 5.3g.

A fragment of a cast, copper-alloy, belt slider of Medieval to Post Medieval date (c1200-c1600). The fragments consists of most of the central bar and part of one side, with a short length of of one of the outer ends. The original slider would have been double looped and rectangular with rounded corners in shape. The central bar and end are round in cross-section, and the wider side oval. The frgament has a green patina. Surviving length 22mm, surviving width 22mm, weight 6.1g. Diameter of central bar 3.2mm.

One spherical lead alloy shot / ball of probable post medieval or early modern date (1600-1800 AD). Due to the size and weight of the ball it is most likely to be from a pistol. The shot is sub spherical in shape with an uneven surface. It has clear casting seams and trimmed casting sprues from the mould. There is no evidence of the shot having been fired. They are a mid-grey colour with abraded powdery patinated surface. One lead alloy shot / ball, of probable post medieval or early modern date (1600-1800 AD) from a small musket or more likely carbine - the shot is sub spherical in shape with an even surface. The ball exhibits prominent casting seams and a trimmed casting sprue: The sprue has a circular depression at the centre forming a ring or annulet. This untrimmed waste makes the carbine ball unusually heavy. The colour of the ball varies from a slight grey colour to a mid cream white.
