A complete copper alloy stud or tack of likely Post Medieval date (c. AD 1500-1800). The object has a circular, domed head that is concave on the reverse. There is an off-centre, square sectioned integral shank that emerges from the underside of the head, starting at 3.33mm long and 3.31mm wide, and tapers to a now blunted point. The shank is bent towards the left around 40% along its length. The object has no decoration visible and has a light green and brown patina. A Post Medieval copper alloy mount or stud, probably dating to c. AD 1500-1700. The mount consists of a relatively large, slightly domed circular head with a hollow reverse. The hollow reverse is undecorated and has an integral spike which is square in section and tapers to a blunt point. The integral spike is bent at the end. Length 19.7mm; Diameter of head 27.5mm; Weight 8.87g.

Post Medieval (17th - 18th century) mount: the mount is lozenge shaped with moulded pellet edges decorating the supper surface. The reverse is undecorated and has an integral spike which is square in section and tapers to a blunt point. The surface has an incomplete mid green patina, otherwise it is a mid brown matte surface. An incomplete, copper alloy stud of uncertain date ranging from Roman to Post Medieval (c. AD 43-1700). The head is sub-oval with a convex outer surface and a concave reverse. Parts of the head are missing. There is an integral shank with a square cross section that tapers to a point, and it is now slightly off-centre of the currently existing head. The surface of the stud is worn and has a light green patina. Dimensions. Length: 15.68mm. Width: 14.59mm. Height: 10.43mm. Weight: 3.11g.

An incomplete copper alloy stud or mount dating to the Medieval to Post Medieval period (c. AD 1300- 1650). The head of the object is quatrefoil in plan and each quarter is domed. Two of the domes are partial, having worn or broken away in antiquity. The reverse of the head is hollow and has an integral, sub-circular sectioned shank protruding from the centre. The copper alloy stud is near-complete with a small fragment of the iron shank preserved within a circular depression on the reverse. The stud is circular in plan and is comparatively small compared to other examples recorded.
