An incomplete moulded Medieval ceramic floor tile, circa 1200-1400 AD. A 'two colour' floor tile, usually found in relatively high status buildings. The floor tile would have originally been rectangular but the top right corner and bottom side of the tile is missing due to old breaks. The front and the back of the tile is flat with sides sloping slightly inwards towards the reverse, resulting in the face of the tile being larger than the back.
