Three sub-circular cast copper alloy curtain rings or loops, with a slender bi-trapezoid section. The surfaces all have file marks. In profile the loops are flat. The surface of the loops have a dark green patina. They measures between 27.3mm and 25.2mm diameter and together weigh 13.5g.
Similar rings are illustrated in Margeson’s, (1993) Norwich Households; Medieval and Post Medieval Finds from Norwich Survey Excavations 1971-78. East Anglian Archaeology Report No. 58. Margeson describes them as being suspension rings which were probably multi-functional, including curtain rings…
