An incomplete Post Medieval / early modern (probable 18th century) silver cufflink. The cufflink element extant is one part of a single cufflink or cufflink element / disc. It consists of a single pressed silver octagonal disc with soldered angular D shaped attachment loop / staple on the reverse. The hoop would have originally been linked by an elongated oval silver wire loop which would have been threaded through the attachment hoops. It is now crushed against the rear of the plate.
