The bodkin is complete but distorted and bent around its mid-section (with a distorted length of 70.4mm, a straightened length of approximately 142mm and a weight of 10.5g). The bodkin has a bowl terminal (5.6mm wide and 2.5mm deep) surmounted on the top of the shaft, which has a aperture, now filled with sediment.
