The flint tool is broadly sub-rectangular in plan and D shaped in cross section; it has been abraded in the ploughsoil. It is formed on a tertiary flake and there is no cortex present. The bulb of percussion is lost due to a break across the lower half of the blade that has removed the bulb and the striking platform. The two blades are broadly a rectangular shape in plan and both have distinctive dorsal crests. In both cases the retouch has been applied to the one surviving original long edge on the dorsal face only; here it creates a crescent shaped removal which is reworked with retouch that is best described as short, sub-parallel and semi-abrupt. The proximal end has the remains of a prepared knapping platform. The flint is very coarse being a light brown grey colour with slightly crystalline (cherty) structure. The bladelet measures 20.0mm length, 23.4mm width, is 8.8mm thick and weighs 4.3 grams.

Complete 'snapped' flint blade of probable Mesolithic date (6500BC - 3500BC). The flint blade is broadly sub-rectangular in plan and triangular (crested) in cross section. The bulb of percussion is present on the ventral (lower) face but the striking platform has been removed by abrasion. The dorsal face has been heavily reworked with all the external edges being retouched. This includes, quite unusually, the lower end which has been shaped into a chisel shaped wedge. A notched blade of later Mesolithic date (5500 - 3500 BC). The blade is broadly rectangular in plan and triangular in section. The upper dorsal face has a series of flake scars present whilst the revere shows conchoidal fractures, bulb of percussion and striking platform. The blade was originally much longer but the upper part is now lost / detached via flaking in the Mesolithic. The upper distal end is retouched with neat abrupt knapping. Flint blade like flake of later Mesolithic date (4000 -3000 BC). The flake is broadly rectangular in plan and has a crested (triangular shaped) cross section. The striking platform and bulb of percussion have been removed by trimming / snapping. There is no evidence of the edges being reworked - and it is this represents a piece of secondary debitage / blade removal during preparation of a new core. The blade is a mid mottled grey colour with a large piece of white cortex along one edge. It measures: 18.2mm in length, 11.1mm width, is 3.7mm thick and weighs 0.6 grams.

An unusual notched snapped blade formed of mid grey mottled flint of later Mesolithic date. The blade has been deliberately snapped and the base of the slender flake survives. One edge (left hand) has a burin removal which has created a slight step. The opposite edge has a deliberately formed U shaped notch, which is reworked on both faces with neat and well formed scaled and overlapping secondary flaking. A snapped flint blade of later Mesolithic date (4000 -3000 BC). The blade is rectangular in plan with a tapering point at the distal end' it has a shallow crested cross section. The striking platform and bulb of percussion are lost. The left habd long edge has been reworked with abrupt retouch. The tip of the blade could be deliberately shaped - although it is difficult to tell. The flint is relatively coarse and a mid grey colour. The blade measures 26mm in length, 13mm width, is 5.1mm thick and weighs 1.6 grams.
