A complete, cast, lead, spindle whorl of probable Medieval date. It is biconical in shape, with a circular perforation in the centre. It has a cream patina. The weight is heavily abraded with multiple gouges so it is hard to say whether it was plain or decorated. Diameter 25mm, height 17mm. The diameter of the central hole is 9mm. Weight 37.4 grams.

Cast lead writing lead of probable Medieval or later date (1100-1800 AD). It is long, thin and has an irregular sub-oval cross-section, with a tapered or pointed terminal at one end and a broken but slightly flattening corroded stump at the other. Both ends are pointed and seem to have been created by shaping the metal (either by cutting or hammering) into a point, as there are four distinct side facets which have been worn creating a rounded point. A cast lead alloy token of later medieval or post-medieval date (1200-1800). The token is sub-circular in plan. The decoration on the front face of this token is that of a six petalled flower. This consists of four lentoid shaped petals formed from raised ribs which emanate from the centre and finish at the edge of the token to create the outline of the petals. Two further sub-circular shaped petals are also created from raised ribs, these are located at the outer edge of the token with two lentoid shaped petals either side. A conical lead alloy standing weight of probable Medieval to Post-Medieval date, circa (AD 1300 - 1700). The apex is a rounded knop and measures 9.38mm in diameter. There is a centrally placed rectangular indentation on the upper surface of the apex, this measures 5.14 mm in length. The sides of the weight flare to the rounded flat base with a diameter measuring 23.8mm. A cast lead or lead alloy spindle whorl of Roman to Post Medieval date (AD 1 - 1650), most probably later medieval (AD 1150-1600). In plan the spindle whorl is sub-circular and in profile is bi-convex. There is a central sub-circular perforation which is 8.6mm diameter. The perforation is irregular in shape possibly due to wear. Medieval lead cloth seal The seal is of uncertain form and the fragmentary remains of two discs are represented, now oval (with a surviving, length of 18.7mm, a surviving width of 13.0mm, a depth of 4.0mm and a weight of 4.3g). The face has a partial inscription preserved: EDWA[ ], indicating Edward, within a beaded border and the device at the centre has a trefoil at the apex, possibly a component of a crown but little of the device now survives.
