A glass bottle seal with a partial fragment of the bottle adhering to the reverse. The glass is an olive green colour and the seal is well preserved. The matrix of the glass is especially fine and thin with no air pockets or impurities present. The upper surface of the seal is impressed with a circular design comprising the initials G.EVANS 1811 Centrally positioned; between the initials is a raised star .
