The flake is broadly a pointed oval shape in plan and D shaped in cross section. The majority of the retouch has been applied on the dorsal face and cuts through an area of 20% cortex. The white cortex is chalk derived and is a mid cream white colour. The retouch forming the two cutting edges can be described as short, parallel and semi-abrupt.
