A copper alloy ring, likely a horse harness ring dating from the Roman to Post-Medieval era (AD 43-1800). Due to the nature of the find, it is hard to accurately date it unless found in a specific archaeological context. The ring is roughly circular and has an external diameter of 31.52mm and an internal diameter of 23.33mm. The band width is 4.44mm and the thickness is 4.11mm, however it does vary across the ring likely due to wear from use. It has a roughly sub rectangular cross section. It has a light green patina and there are no visible signs of decoration.
