A worked stone hub probably from a toy wheel, probably of Post Medieval to Modern dating (16th to 19th Centuries AD). The hub is sub circular in plan, and sub rectangular in cross section. It has been made from a fine grained mica rich sandstone. It has a central drilled perforation (hole) through the centre of the object, with an internal diameter of 6.19mm. A Medieval or Post Medieval (12th to mid 19th century) possible cooking vessel leg: In plan it is a sub-rectangle, with broken edges on all sides, but these breaks are not recent. One long edge is at right-angles. The surface is abraded and has a mottled mid green coloured patina with traces of a carbon build up. The leg measures 47.93mm tall, 23.57mm wide across the leg and 13.12mm thick. It weighs 27.77g. Roman to post medieval date (c. AD43-1600) lead pot mend: It consists of a broadly triangular piece of lead with a sub H-shaped section. The void on the edge has a fragment of ceramic material remaining with an oxidised orange-brown surface and a dark grey core. The lead has a thick white patina. Lead pot mends were used throughout the Roman and medieval periods as a result these are extremely difficult to date unless dateable ceramic material survives with the repair. A Medieval or Post Medieval (12th to mid 19th centuries) cooking vessel leg: In plan the leg is an elongated triangle with the tip forming the foot. The upper terminal has obliquely angled sides which have broken edge, and the actual surface is smooth and forms the interior surface of the vessel. In section the leg is sub-triangular with the back face being concave. The surface has a mottled mid to dark green patina with patches of a carbon build up. A cast copper alloy object of unknown date and function. It is rectangular in plan, and section. The upper surface exhibits a central V shaped groove down the length of the object. A central solitary projection (2.86mm wide, 4.08mm tall) is present next to the edge of the groove. The lower surface is undulating and uneven. Pitting is present.
