A complete leaf shaped flint arrowhead of probable earlier Neolithic date (4000 - 2700 BC) formed on a tertiary flake. The arrowhead is ogival / lentoid (a diamond shaped lozenge) in plan and lentoid in cross section. The arrowhead has been knapped from a mottled light-grey to brown flint which is opaque in places. Both faces of the flint show invasive, scaled, low angled retouch, with one face showing a slight scar, probably caused by a plough or similar machinery. A heavily corroded and broken Polden Hill type Roman brooch dated to (c.AD 70-240). The bow is missing it's lower section and catch plate, the pin is also missing. The wings are intact and the end plates are pierced - they hold the copper alloy axis bar. On the front there is a raised circumferential rim with an incuse ring at the centre, surrounded by fine circumferential turning marks. A cast copper-alloy fragment from a cooking vessel of post-medieval date. The artefact consists of the foot and a short section of leg above. Immediately above the foot is a ribbed collar. The foot is decorated on the front with three vertical ribs, the central rib being wider than the two flanking ribs to the side.
