An incomplete and recently damaged silver long cross penny of Edward I (AD 1272 - 1307) probably Class 10cf1 (AD1305-1306) Obverse: Bifoliate crowned bust facing, EDWA [R ANGL] DNS hYB. Reverse: Long cross dividing the inscription with three pellets in each angle, CIVI/TAS/C[A]N/[TOR]. The coin shows signs of being recently cracked and broken, probably caused from contact with agricultural machinery. JJ North Vol 2 1991. Page 32, reference: 1040 Weight: 1.05g Diameter: 18.18mm.

A Medieval silver penny of Edward II (1307-1327). Class 10cf3 (North 1041/2) struck in Durham c. AD 1306 - 1309. Based on the style of letter E and crown 3. (North 1991 volume II page 32). The coin is worn smooth on the left side of the obverse and lower right of the reverse. There appears to be a crack running from 5 0 clock to 9 0 clock on the obverse Weight: 1.2 grams Diameter: 17.4mm

A complete silver medieval long-cross penny. The penny is heavily worn and bent by farm machinery. The intial mark is a cross pattee. Only the start of the obverse legend is clear, being EDWAR. The mint is Canturbury. The C and E are closed, with round backs, suggesting class 6 to 11a, Edward I or II. The crown is too worn to distinguish its type, as is the face and neck. Diameter 17.7mm,Weight 1.0g.

An incomplete silver penny of Edward I. The remains are from the right hand side of a ripped long-cross penny. The penny is well worn in places. The following letters can be made out on the obverse -DW R A- which only matches EDW R ANGL DNS HYB making this class 1d to 9c. The trifoliate crown has a broad, flat band sugesting class 1d. There is an indistint line across the tail of the R which might be a long punction mark, as seen on class 1d. The left hand ornament is a spearhead. Ripped fragment of a longcross penny. Top left quarter of obverse remains. The initial mark is a cross potent, and the left fleur is bi-foliate with a spear ornament. The reverse portion of the legend is I/TAS from CIVITAS. The bi-foliate crown would suggest that the coin is most likely to be post Class 9. Weight 0.7g
