A Roman or later copper alloy acorn-shaped object, possibly a slide weight from a steelyard or statera. The shell of the acorn is raised. The top has a flattened projection in which is an offset hole or suspension loop. Inside the hole remains a piece of copper alloy wire measuring 2.5mm in diameter. The bottom has been abraded and is now a slightly flattened both on the perimeter and base. There is a single circular countersunk mark on the perimeter. A late or more probably post Medieval pan weight cast in lead, This crude 1 ounze weight is a flat cylinder in shape, with an irregualr raised lip around the perimeter on both sides. The weight is plain with no surface stamps or decoration. It has a cream patina coloured surface patina. Similar stacking weights often in copper alloy are known from the Post Medieval period (Henry VII and later). The weight weighs 30.5grams, which is 1.08 Ounces. The irregular nature of the rim is probably due to movement in the plough soil. On both sides of the weight is a central indentation. The only markings are four irregularly spaced, incised ringlets on one half of the top side. The weight has a yellow grey patina all over. The weight originally had an iron loop, the stubs of which protude from opposite sides near the top. The conical shape has a broad rounded top, and around the base there is a wide, uneven lip. The weight has a cream patina, with the underlying grey metal showing at the sight of a recent plough strike. The weight is 39.6mm tall and has a maximum diameter of 54.3mm. The weight is similar to example 69 and 75 in Biggs and Withers, Lead Weights.

Hollow, elongated lead alloy weight. The weight was crudely formed by rolling a piece of flat lead, and was probably designed to hang around a cord or thread. The weight is broadly circular in cross section and tapers slightly along its length. White patina. Length 21.0mm, width 11.5mm. Weight 10.1g.

A crude lead weight. This flat weight is lozenge shaped in plan. The weight has no decoration or marks. The tip of one corner is slightly thicker on the front side. The weight has an off-white patina all over, apart from where recent abrasion has occurred. Height 41.3mm, width 41.5mm, maximum thickness 8.6mm Weight 66.7g (2.35 Ounces).
