A cast copper-alloy medieval ring dating to c.AD 1150-1500. The object comprises a circular loop with facetted sides, giving it a low bi-convex appearance. Worn on the exterior frame indicating possible suspension use. These are very common find and may have had a number of uses including as part of horse-harness, or used for suspension of vessels, or as curtain-rings etc.
