Early Bronze Age flint barbed and tanged arrowhead, c. 2500 – 1600BC The arrowhead is of barbed and tanged form, probably of Sutton type and is missing the tip and one barb, with a surviving length of 20.12mm and a surviving width of 17.60mm. The remaining barb is pointed and the tang is oblique. The flint is blue grey and has patinated white. The arrowhead has a maximum thickness of 3.48mm and weighs 1.1g.

Lead spindle-whorl of Medieval date. Bi-conical, decorated with a maximum diameter of 25.9mm and a height of 16.4mm. Broad and rounded central waist with a depth of up to 8mm. One face is decorated with chevrons and the other with radiating lines. The perforation has an internal diameter of 9.5mm and the whorl weighs 39.4g.

Preserved near complete leather purse dating from the Late Medieval or early Post Medieval period, probably c. 1400 – 1650. The purse has been constructed from three pieces of leather: a separate front, back and pocket with an additional leather drawstring tie. The front piece has an attached stitched pocket. The back piece has an integral loop at the top in order to secure the purse to a belt or similar, and is composed of thinner leather than the front and the pocket pieces. Roman copper alloy bow brooch fragment of Colchester derivative Polden Hill (flat wing ends type), Mackreth 2011, 4.b-4c, Plate 46 and dating to the late 1st -early 2nd century AD. The brooch is represented by the head only, and has a surviving height of 24.8mm and weighs 6.7g. The brooch employed a spring mechanism secured by a Polden Hill claw type arrangement. The wings are 23.2mm wide and are undecorated. The bow has a D-shaped section with converging sides. There is the suggestion of a V shaped moulding at the head. The brooch fragment is eroded and has lost a nick out of the surface.
