A Mesolithic scraper on a flake. The tool has some retouch on both lateral edges and on the distal edge. It measures 17.98 mm long, 10.44 mm wide, 2.95 mm thick and weighs 0.6 grams. It is lozenge shaped in section. The flint is a pale cream to white in colour.

A Mesolithic flint flake, retouched to form a scraper. The flint is almost entirely cortical, with only the butt of the proximal end and an area of retouch on each lateral edge exposing the dark grey interior of the flint. The cortex is ochre to white in colour. At the butt the striking platform and bulb scars show clearly where the flake was struck. Retouch on the right lateral edge (when the flint is held with the dorsal side facing) was probably intended to form a scraping edge. A Mesolithic flint side and end scraper on a flake. The prepared striking platform is clearly visible at the proximal end of the flake and the bulb of percussion and bulb scar is visible on the ventral surface at the butt. The tool is convex, with abrubt retouch at the distal end and on the right lateral edge (when held with dorsal surface facing). The other lateral edge is cortical. The flint is of a mottled dark grey in colour, apart from the area of cortex which is white to cream. The flake measures 41.7 mm in length and 18.23 wide. It is 6.43 mm thick.
