A complete copper-alloy bi-face Antwerp coin weight of Post-Medieval date, circa AD 1576-1579.
The weight is square with a rectangular section. It is worn and has a brown patina. The obverse shows a shield with double-headed eagle.
The reverse displays the upright hand of Antwerp with K & I either side, star below. These initials refers to an unknown maker who was active from c.AD 1576-1579 (Withers (1995:61). The plate is subcircular with moulded relief and openwork decoration consisting of an unequal armed cross with a central pellet, which is no longer visible due to wear of the object. An incomplete copper alloy jews harp dating circa AD 1500-1800.
The object consists of an annular head, with two legs projecting downwards that narrow to a point. The head and arms are lozenge-shaped in cross-section. On one side of the head is the rabbet for the iron tongue, now missing, that was plucked to produce the note. The harp is fairly worn, with an even patina and smooth overall surface.

Complete d-shaped finger-ring of the mourning/memorial/memento-mori type. The exterior of the ring is heavily worked with deeply incised decoration. A skull is the central motif, to its right a reserve of cross-hatched lozenges, an oval-shaped flower with lozenges at its centre, a reserve of cross-hatched lozenges, a further flower, and a final reserve of cross-hatched lozenges, before returning to the skull. An incomplete and distorted cast copper alloy Jews harp of probable post-Medieval date (c. 1500-c. 1800). The lyre-shaped instrument is near complete with only the iron twanger being lost. It is broadly symmetrical in plan; with a sub-circular head and tapering arms which are characteristically lozenge-shaped in cross-section. The metal is a mid green colour with an abraded surface patina commonly seen on finds of later post medieval date. All surfaces have a distinct filed surface. There is no evidence of an iron twanger, but there is a rectangular recess where it would have sat.

A small rectangular gun flint of post medieval - modern date (1700-1850 AD). The flint is sub-square in plan , being trapezoidal in profile and section. The flint is a light mottled grey colour. The dorsal face has been knapped / worked on all four sides; this work consists of creating sloping edges to give it a trapezoidal side view. The ventral face retains the waves emanating outwards from the point of impact, but the bulb of percussion has been removed. The flint is unabraded suggesting it hasn't been used. The fragment is broken into four large parts and was originally identified as a potential Roman mortaria fragment. An incomplete fragment of a clay tobacco pipe comprising the stem and foot dating to the late post medieval date (c.1660-1680). The fragment is broadly similar to David Atkinson's Broseley Type 2b (1660-1680) classification. The bowl is lost however it would originally have had a narrow elongated bowl. The foot is relatively small flat oval shaped which is marked with the intials W V within a heart shaped stamp or cartouche. This form of stamp identifies the father and son makers William Underwood who lived in Lower Raven Lane, Ludlow (Berlyn 2008, 12-15).

The frame of the buckle is sub-rectangular (rectangular with rounded corners) in plan with two central drilled holes to which an iron axis bar would have fixed. The pin and strap fittings are lost. In profile the frame is bowed. The ball has a circular shaped hole through its mid point (5.19mm in diameter) and has no sign of decoration, casting seam or casting spur. It is a light grey colour with a relatively thick surface patina. It is highly unlikely that the ball is from shot and instead is suggested to be from a line or net weight.

Obverse: Field filled with writing above E.CROSS and below INN enclosed within a circular beaded border. A plain cross is centrally placed with two parallel dots diagonal and below the centre.
Reverse: A central circular field reading 3 D ( two vertically placed dots below the D) The rest of the coin is encompassed a laurel of victory wreath, all enclosed within a circular beaded border.

A glass bottle seal with a partial fragment of the bottle adhering to the reverse. The glass is an olive green colour and the seal is well preserved. The matrix of the glass is especially fine and thin with no air pockets or impurities present. The upper surface of the seal is impressed with a circular design comprising the initials G.EVANS 1811 Centrally positioned; between the initials is a raised star . One spherical lead alloy shot / ball of probable post medieval or early modern date (1600-1800 AD). Due to the size and weight of the ball it is most likely to be from a grapeshot. The shot is spherical in shape with an even surface. It has no casting seams or casting sprues from the mould. There is no evidence of the shot having been fired.
