A possible Levalloisian core flake / blade of most probable Neolithic date. The blade is rectangular in plan with a lenticular cross-section. The lower edge is broken - most probably in antiquity as the whole flint has the same mid-grey coloured milky surface patina. The flaking appears intentionally to have shaped the flint while still on the original core, creating a distinctive 'tortoise shell' flaking, typical of Levallois flint technology. A long broad blade like flake of probable later Neolithic date (4500-2500 BC). The blade is broadly rectangular in plan and in section with a distinct 'backed' dorsal ridge - it is from the secondary preparation of a core. A very small area of mid-cream coloured cortex is present on the dorsal face. The ventral face shows conchoidal ripples but the bulb of percussion and striking platform have been removed through snapping. Both long edges and the tip have been extensively retouched. Mesolithic to Neolithic (c. 7000 to 2350BC) debitage: A blade knapped from flint. The flake is triangular in section. The dorsal surface has two vertical scars and the ventral surface has traces of conchoidal ripples and a small bulb of percussion. The surface has a white patina which has a dark grey flint. It measures 25.74mm long, 9.83mm wide, 3.79mm thick and weighing 0.95g. The blade probably dates to the Mesolithic to Neolithic periods, c. 7000 to 2350BC.

Mesolithic to Neolithic (c. 7000 to 2350BC) debitage: A blade knapped from flint. The blade is trapezoidal in section. The dorsal surface has three vertical scars and the ventral surface has traces of conchoidal ripples. The proximal end is missing, but the patina which covers the surface also covers the break. One on lateral edge there is a small portion of damage rather than re-touch revealing a dark grey flint. It measures 31.88mm long, 14.11mm wide, 3.39mm thick and weighing 2.17g. The blade probably dates to the Mesolithic to Neolithic periods, c. 7000 to 2350BC.

A Neolithic flint blade from the outer area of the core. The flint is probably a river sourced pebble. The blade shows both hinge fractures on the front (dorsal) face and choncoidal fractures and bulb of percussion on the reverse (ventral). The striking platform is also present. The retouch on the long edges is from indirect percussion and is neat and regular. The cortex suggests that several blades have been removed from the core prior to the removal of this flake
