The ventral surface has a large bulb or percussion and slight conchoidal ripples. The dorsal surface has a negative scar. The distal end has a small curved notch which has been formed by re-touch. The flake measures 18.66mm long, 23.56mm wide, 6.25mm thick and weighs 2.33g. Retouched flakes are difficult to date as they are present throughout prehistory. Four pieces / flakes of tertiary debitage which have been deliberately burnt and used as 'pot boilers' dating from the later Mesolithic and Neolithic periods (4500-2100 BC). The flakes are not well preserved. All the flakes have irregular 'crazed' surfaces which are slightly translucent. The cause of this is most likely to be direct heat and rapid cooling. A large substantial backed knife of later Mesolithic or Neolithic date (6500-2000 BC). The knife is formed on a a broad tertiary blade with a distinct baked ridge on the dorsal face created by removals of previous blades. The distall end of the ventral face has a clear bulbar scar and bulb of percussion however the prepared striking platform has been removed by snapping and retouch. Retouched flint blade fragment possibly from a knife or base of a long leaf shaped arrowhead. This is the butt or proximal end of the flake that has a rounded base, the sides have bifacial retouch that is long, scaled and with a low angle on the dorsal side: short and with a low angle on the ventral. Dark garish-brown flint with a speckled/patchy patina.

A fragment of knapped flint knife - or possibly a reworked projectile point of later Neolithic or Early Bronze Age date (2900 BC - 1800 BC). The flint is sub-triangular in plan and an irregular trapezoid in cross section. The flint has been worked from a larger flake and the ventral face shows evidence of conchoidal ripples. A broken pointed end of a finely worked bifacial tool of translucent brown flint with light and mid grey inclusions. It has been totally invasively worked. The plan is a pointed symmetrical leaf shape, very much like a leaf arrow head but for a somewhat thicker section. Close to the slightly oblique break the sharp margin has been slightly blunted which suggests that the tool was a kind of knife. The implement is 30.9mm in length, 33.35mm wide, 8.3mm thick and weighs 8.4 grams
