The blade is complete, with the proximal end having a feint bulb of percussion on the ventral face. The dorsal surface has three vertical negative linear scars and one lateral edge has a very fine retouch. This retouch is not particularly visible, but can be felt. The flint is a dark brown black colour and there is a large area of cortex - this suggests the flint is of a good quality and is not native to the area in which it was found. A complete, worked out Mesolithic flint core. The flint is a semi opaque grey colour. It exhibits multiple faceting from the removal of long thin blades in several directions set at 90 degrees to one another Length 12mm, width 19mm, thickness 8mm. weight: 1.8 grams

A pyramidal shaped core dating to the Mesolithic period (6500 - 3500 BC). The core is triangular in profile and irregular in plan. A number of distinct knapping platforms are present and there are several areas of multiple blade removals in a number of different directions .The flint is a light grey colour with a milky white patina and substantial area of cortex. The flint is also very coarse and there are a number of hinge fractures present. The core measures 28.7mm in length, 29.1mm width, is 26.3mm thick and weighs 24.49 grams.

A snapped flint blade of later Mesolithic date (4000 -3000 BC). The blade is rectangular in plan and has a crested cross section. The striking platform and bulb of percussion are lost. The dorsal face has a large area of cortex present suggesting that this should be claseed as secondary debitage . One of thelong edges has been reworked with neat and even scaled retouch which creates a good cutting and scraping edge. Both the upper and lower edges of the blade are snapped - both have a grey coloured developed surface patina. The snapping has also removed the striking platform and bulb of percussion. The striking platform and bulb of percussion are lost. The left habd long edge has been reworked with abrupt retouch. The tip of the blade could be deliberately shaped - although it is difficult to tell. The flint is relatively coarse and a mid grey colour. The blade measures 26mm in length, 13mm width, is 5.1mm thick and weighs 1.6 grams.
