A complete and sealed / closed cast lead or lead alloy pilgrims ampulla dating from the medieval period; late 13th - late 15th century (1250-1500). The pilgrims' ampulla is broadly sub-rectangular in plan and profile. The lower part has a rounded convex base that tapers slightly to form a waste at the mid point. This then flares outwards towards the upper edge which is closed / sealed by crimping at the top. A complete lead alloy token of later medieval or post medieval date (1200-1800). The token is circular in plan. The upper faceis decorated with a vertical cross which bisects a circlet enclosed within a ring of pellets. The reverse shows a rectangle with uneven sides filled with a saltire cross. The token has a grey coloured surface patina.
