The legend reads hEnRIC DI GRA REX ANGL with trefoil stops and a lis after HENRIC. Reverse has a floriated cross with a lis at the end of each limb, in each angle a lion passant guardant, with a lis at the centre, all within a tressure of eight arches. A slightly distorted gold finger-ring with external black-letter inscription, of 15th-century date.
The finger-ring is complete and comprises a flat broad band that is engraved on the exterior with highly accomplished floral forms. The decoration consists of six alternating triangular panels. Each panel displays the flower of a lily. An incomplete medieval, gold gem-set finger ring. This has a large hollow rectangular bezel with an oval aperture (4.9mm by 2.2mm) and purple stone set within. Flanking the bezel are small flanges that are decorated with a ridged pattern of small parallel lines. The hoop has a D-shaped cross-section and is decorated at the shoulders with a series of engraved lines. In the centre of the shoulders is an oval mount for a stone, one is missing but the other still retains a hemispherical green stone. The remainder of the hoop is undecorated.

Gold finger-ring with external inscription, of 15th-century date.
Description: The finger-ring is complete, comprising a broad, flat circular hoop of comparatively small diameter. The hoop was soldered and the feathered join is evident on both the inside and outside faces. The hoop has been engraved with leaves and flowers between words in black-letter script. The decoration comprises a four-petalled flower, repeated three times and flanked each side by springs of foliage. A fragment of incised decorative plaque / band of gold probably dating from the late medieval period (1380 -1500 AD). The band is incomplete; it is incised with a motto and was probably attached to the base of a thimble or similar type of personal artefact. The band is rectangular in plan and cross section; in profile it is bowed. It seems that the band has been folded at least 6 times to form a small rectangle of gold which has subsequently been straightened to its present shape.
