Silver toggle or fitting with globular knop on each side. Narrow body expanding at each end into a globule, creating an overall dumb-bell shape. Globules are of un-uniform size. Copper-alloy and bone examples of similar objects have been dated to the Iron Age, a similar shaped toggle can be found in Read (2005). An Iron Age object of this type is extremely rare. A copper alloy ring of probably Iron Age to Roman date (c. 300 BC - AD 100). The ring is circular in cross-section. It is decorated by a finely executed double wavy line within a recessed band that wind around the circumference of the ring. The inner surface of the ring is smooth and in places shows signs of wear which may indicate where is has rubbed on a strap.
