Cast copper alloy bracelet of unknown age – probably late Iron Age – Roman (100 BC-100 AD). The bracelet is formed from a cast length of copper alloy bar which seems to have been twisted in a vice. The twists for the most part are regular, although a series of stress fractures are evident in a number of places. It is possible that it has been cast – although the mould it was cast from must have been based upon a twisted example.
