Cast copper alloy pin or stud of probable later Iron Age or early Roman date 200 BC – 200 AD). The stud is complete consisting of a domed bi-convex head which tapers to a slight short shaft. The head is decorated with an incised pattern of a debased spiral formed from incised lines set around a central raised pellet or dome. The pattern is not well achieved being uneven and irregular in design. The shaft is an irregular square shaped section which tapers to a point.
