A gold band with a narrow tang/fastening hook at one end and blunt rounded terminal at one end (with a roughly pierced hole to receive the fastening hook). Both sides of the ornament are folded over to create an overall [ shape (similar to other objects of this date and style, cf. the Binstead 'rings', discussed below). The object has been distorted and crumpled. It is not clear whether the damage occurred before or after deposition, but the latter is probable given the lack of clear or intentional breakage.

Description: An incomplete penannular composite gold ring which is broadly C-shaped and comprises of three separate bars which are sub-oval in section and possibly soldered together. One terminal end of a bar is broken and is fragmentary compared to the other two bars. Otherwise the terminals are flat with slightly rounded edges.

Description:
Thin strip of gold that has been hammered flat, 24mm long, 6mm wide and 0.4mm thick. One end has been broken off, the other narrows and thickens from a flat ribbon towards a buffer shaped terminal bent back along the length of the ribbon.
Dimensions:
11mm long, 2mm wide, 2.5mm thick. Length 24mm, width 9mm, thickness 8mm, weight 1.57g.
Discussion:
The gold terminal and body fragment is that of a Late Bronze Age (1150-750 BC) penannular ribbon bracelet comparable to recent finds such as at West Wight, Isle of Wight (2002:13)
