The obverse depicts a forward facing crowned bust with pellets either side of the crown, and a sceptre in hand. The legend reads HENRICVS REX III. The reverse depicts a voided long cross with three pellets in each quarter. The legend reads NIC HOL EON RAN which refers to the moneyer Nicole.

A parallel can be found on the PAS database CORN-E790D6, discovered in Cornwall.  The object has a height of 23.1 mm and a width of 24 mm. The thickness is 4.8 mm. It weighs 9.3 grams.

A copper alloy post medieval shoe or knee buckle, with a drilled frame for a separate spindle dating to circa AD 1690-1720.  The brooch is broadly rectangular with rounded edges. The frame is curved in profile. At the centre of each long edge is a projection that would have held the separate spindle. This is now lost along with the pin. A complete cast copper alloy end-looped cosmetic pestle of early Roman date (c. AD 50-200). The integrally cast pestle has a bird-headed loop at one end, measuring 12.8mm in diameter and 3.4mm wide, with the loop having a faceted oval cross section c. 3.4-4.0mm thick. The loop curves back on itself to attach to the underside of the pestle terminating in a recurved, flared lip 4.7mm wide (representing a bird’s beak).
